There are companies that have the resources to place ads on TV and tell all of us how much of a waste of time it is to work with small businesses.  In one such ad, a company suggests that working with a web designer is slow and that these folks do not communicate.  Well, maybe you can get your site up in "minutes" with these big companies, but I can guarantee you it will not have the personal feel and professional attitude you want to display to your own clients as would a website designed by a professional instead of picked out of a set of stock templates.
